EDWARD ADAM KAYE (KOWALSKI) Peacefully, on Tuesday, January 2, 2002, at Seven Oaks Hospital, Edward Adam Kaye passed away at the age of 83 years. Edward will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Sharon; daughter Jewel (Walter) step-son Jamie; grandchildren Michael, Courtney and Justin; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, especially his niece Christine and husband Dennis in Victoria, BC; special pets, Sultan and Renna. Edward was predeceased by his granddaughter Amanda. Edward was born on May 3, 1918, in Winnipeg, the youngest of eight children. He started working for the C.P.R. in 1942 and retired in October, 1980. Edward was a member of the Assiniboine AA Group since December 23, 1964. He was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 141 and president from 1990-1994. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edwards memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. At Edwards request, cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., with Fr. Isidore Dziadyk, OSBM officiating.
