KELLY LOUIS BERT WOODHOUSE June 15, 1964 - January 1, 2002 It is with great sadness that we announce the accidental passing of Kelly Louis Bert Woodhouse of Fairford First Nation on New Years Day, January 1, 2002 at the age of 37 years. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Carol; daughter Maegan and sons, Blake, Dalton and Tristan; his stepdaughter Mary and stepson Adam, his mother Rose (Nick) Halaburda; his brother Archie (Val) Letandre; his sisters, Lillian (Brian) Anderson, Katherine (Jason) Halldorson, Patricia Halaburda; and his nephew Joshua Woodhouse; his uncles, Silas (Rosalie) Woodhouse, Bert (Christine) Woodhouse, Archie (Ruth) Woodhouse, Walter (Stella) Woodhouse; and his aunties, Jean (Ron) Nobess, Beverley (Robert) McLean, Eileen (Darrell) Hunter, Sophia (Leonard) Stagg, Judy (Bruce) Thurier; his in-laws, Andy and Charlotte Anderson; his brothers-in-law, Chad (Tina) Anderson, Ashley (Jennifer) Anderson; and sisters-in-law, Jane Robinson, Elaine (Grant) Marsden; the Gould family; Granny and auntie Sophia (Ken) Craig and family; and many nieces and nephews. Kelly was predeceased by his grandfather Louis in 1976, his grandmother Ida in 1990, and his sister Joanne in 1995. Kelly, as a young child, was raised by his grandparents, Louis and Ida. He was raised in a loving home filled with many aunties and uncles whom he loved as sisters and brothers. With what little possessions and resources Kelly had, Kelly used his creativity and handyman workmanship to make a pleasant family home. Through his workmanship Kelly produced accomplishments that enriched his life and his family. Kelly and Carol were married and had four beautiful children. Kelly shared a special relationship to his first and only daughter Maegan whom he loved dearly. Kelly also had a special relationship with his sons whom he proudly took with him everywhere he went. Wherever Kelly was, his sons were sure to be beside him. Kelly enjoyed teaching and showing his sons new things and doing activities with them. Kellys sense of humour, strength, compassion, and love for life will be deeply missed. To family and friends Kelly will also be remembered as a loyal friend, loving brother, and devoted husband and father. Kelly, there is an empty space in our family circle. You were there to repair whatever needed to be fixed. You were there when we needed you through both difficult and memorable events in our lives. The twinkle in your eyes and the laughter in your voice will be forever cherished. Pallbearers will be Chad Anderson, Ashley Anderson, Pat Thompson, Desmond Gould, Derrick Gould, and Preston Woodhouse. Crossbearer will be his brother Archie. A wake service will be held on Saturday, January 5 beginning at 8:00 p.m. at the Fairford Pentecostal Church. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 6 in the church, with Rev. Robert McLean officiating. Interment will take place at St. Helens Cemetery. For those wishing to make a financial donation on behalf of Kellys children in lieu of flowers, accounts were set up at all the branches of the Eriksdale Credit Union and an account at CIBC, Ashern, MB, please make cheques payable to Carol Woodhouse. We did not know that morning, What sorrow that evening would bring, The bitter grief and shock severe To part with one we love so dear. You bid no one a last farewell, No chance to say goodbye You were gone before we knew it And only God knows why. It broke our hearts to lose you, But you did not go alone, For part of us went with you The day God called you home. Though your smile is gone forever And your hand we cannot touch, We will never lose the memory Of the one we loved so much. Forever in our hearts with love. We will always remember and sadly miss you. From your wife and children, your mother, brother and sisters, aunties and uncles, in-laws, and the Goulds.
