ROBERT DANIEL BRUNEAU On Friday, January 4, 2002 at Grace Hospital, Robert Daniel Bruneau passed away peacefully at the age of 77 years. Roberts memory will be forever cherished and sadly missed by his loving wife Rose Jean Bruneau (nee Gregg), his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as sister Evelyn Ratz. He was predeceased by his mother, father, and two brothers. Dad was born on Tuesday, May 6, 1924 at Gowganda, ON. He served in the Army as a Military Policeman during the Second World War. On Saturday, November 28, 1942 he married Rose Jean Gregg, and lived in the City of Winnipeg, where he raised his six children. He retired from his lifelong occupation as a carpenter, devoting his retirement to enjoying his family, and woodworking, which included making violins. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, January 8 at 8:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, 4588 Roblin Blvd. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 9 at 10:30 a.m. also at the church, with Rev. Fr. Barry Schoonbaert presiding. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Grace Hospital for the care and support during our fathers illness. In lieu of flowers, the family would gratefully appreciate donations in memory of Robert to the Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2B7.
