SADIE PROKOPEC January 17, 1912 - January 3, 2002 Peacefully, on Thursday, Sadie, aged 89 years, passed away at East Gate Lodge, Beausejour, MB. Sadie was predeceased by her husband Edward (Ed) in 1990; her parents, Jacob and Mary; brother Morris and son Jerry. Left to mourn her passing is daughter-in-law Grace Cornick; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Sadie was a nurses aide at the Municipal Hospital for many years. She later moved to Beausejour, where she continued to share her zest for life with family and friends as well as being actively involved in her church community. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Beausejour Hospital and East Gate Lodge for their support and care. Prayers will be held on Monday, January 7 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 8 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Pauls United Church, Beausejour, MB with Rev. John Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in St. Johns Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Stead, MB. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
