ISABEL COMODA LOPEZ Peacefully on Wednesday, January 2, 2002, at the Health Sciences Centre, Isabel Comoda Lopez, dearly beloved wife of Federico Lopez, entered into eternal rest at the age of 85 years. Besides her loving husband Federico, Isabels memory will be forever cherished and sadly missed by Tessie and Romy (Canada), and her six other children living in the Philippines and their respective families, including numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her memory will also be cherished by several relatives and friends both in Canada and the Philippines. Isabel was born on Monday, July 17, 1916 in the Province of Iloilo, Philippines, and immigrated to Canada with Federico her husband of 66 years, in April 1980. Lamay will be held on Thursday, January 10 and Friday, January 11 from 6:00 p.m. - 12:00 midnight, with prayers at 7:30 p.m., at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 12 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 250 Burrin Ave., with Rev. Fr. Terance P. McGrath presiding. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. She led her life with strength and kindness with a loving nature that will be missed by all.
