DORIS MARGARET THIRY Suddenly, following a brief illness, it is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Doris Margaret Thiry with her family by her side on Monday, January 7, 2002. Doris will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Shari (Ted) MacDonald; grandchildren, Shari D.M. Foshay (partner Steve Schram) numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and good friend Grace. She was predeceased by her husband Al; son Allain; mother Lovey; father Arman and brother Alan Johnson. Doris loved to spend many hours gardening, doing puzzles, and reading. The family would like to thank the Riverview Health Centre and the Victoria General Hospital for all the care that Doris received. A Celebration of Doriss Life will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St., with Rev. Don McIntyre officiating. A Private Family Interment will be held in Glenboro Cemetery at a later date.
