ETTIE JUNE MORRIS On Friday, January 4, 2002, June Morris passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 83 years. June was very devoted to her parents who predeceased her. She was also predeceased by her two brothers, Hector and Colin. Junes career as a secretary with Air Canada (formerly TCA) spanned over 42 years. She was active in sports, bowled in the Air Canada Bowling League and participated in the Air Canada Ski Club. For many years June was the secretary of the Air Canada Retirement Club and she was a member of the TCA Alumni, she enjoyed attending their annual get-togethers in Florida. June was the first female employee to attain 40 years of service, a milestone of which she was very proud. June was a great supporter and active member of the Air Canada Pionairs. She was quite a world traveller during her working years and after. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 14 at 10:30 a.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., entrance on Aubrey Street. If friends desire, donations may be made in Junes memory to the St. Boniface Research Foundation, 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2H 9Z9 or the Canadian Cancer Society, Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9.
