Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM MERVIN MOSHENKO November 26, 1931 - January 7, 2002 Peacefully on January 7, 2002 at the Health Sciences Centre, William Moshenko passed away with family by his side. Love of my life, my best friend and my loved husband and father. We shared 46 years together and had four wonderful sons. Left to cherish Williams memory are his beloved wife Joann; sons, Mervin, Vancouver, Richard, Winnipeg, Michael, Snow Lake and Russell, Winnipeg; brothers, Harry (Jean) of Prince George, BC, John (Gloria) of Virden, MB, Patrick of Prince George, BC; uncles, Alek of Penticton, BC, Bill and Merle of Edmonton; aunts, Peggie of Edmonton, Ann (Ken) of Vancouver; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two children, Freddie, 1958 and Deborah Joann, 1962; his parents; and brother Tom of Regina. Bill worked for CNR as Telegrapher and Station Agent in many parts of Manitoba and Ontario for 37 years. He loved all sports. Bill was involved in curling, hockey, golf, and baseball receiving many trophies and managed a hole-in-one after blindness took his sight. He also loved to travel. Bill fought a losing battle. We are at peace that his suffering and pain has ended. Bill was a great man with patience, kindness and honesty. Thank you to my sister Siunn and brother-in-law Arnold for all their visits and words of encouragement, the special dialysis nurses, his favourite dietician Pat, Dr. Gorski, his family doctor for many years, dialysis Dr. Allan, Dr. Zacharias and Dr. Bernstein, Dr. Penner, Dr. Metha, and all the Emergency Medical Team and many others that looked after Bill in his last hours of life. A special thank you to the housekeeping staff at Club Regent for all your consideration. Funeral service will be held at a later date. In tears we saw you sinking, We watched you fade away, You suffered much in silence, You fought so hard to stay. You faced your task with courage, Your spirit did not bend, But still you kept on fighting, Until the very end. God saw you getting tired, When a cure was not to be, So He put His arms around you, And whispered, "Come to Me". So when we saw you sleeping, So peaceful, free from pain, We could not wish you back, To suffer that again. You didnt deserve what you went through, So He took you home to rest. Gods garden must be beautiful, For He only takes the best. BARDAL FUNERAL HOME 843 Sherbrook Street, 774-7474
