JEAN SOLYLO July 1, 1918 - January 11, 2002 A resident of Holy Family Home since October of 2000, Jean passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital in the early morning hours of January 11, 2002. Born in St. Boniface and spent her entire life in Winnipeg. She enjoyed many happy years with husband Bill who predeceased her in December of 1987. She is survived by two sons, Bill (Angela) of Hesperia, CA and Fred (Rosina) of Edmonton, AB as well as four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Jean was always very actively involved over the years in numerous volunteer organizations and loved to travel which even included trips to Europe. The family wishes to extend its most sincere appreciation to family and close friends for their thoughts and caring especially during these past few months. In lieu of flowers, a contribution in her name to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated. Prayers will be held on Tuesday, January 15, at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 16, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Ukrainian Catholic Church, 250 Jefferson Ave. with Rev. Fr. B. Kyba, C.Ss.R. officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. MEMORIES To the living, I am gone. To the sorrowful ones, I will never return. To the angry, I was cheated. But to the happy, I am at peace. And to the faithful, I never left. I cannot speak, but I can listen. I cannot be seen, but I can be heard. So as you look upon a flower and admire simplicity, remember me. Remember me in your heart, your thoughts and your memories of the times we loved, the times we cried, the times we fought, the times we laughed. For if you always think of me, I will never have gone. Love... Mom CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
