BETTY JOAN GUSTAFSON Peacefully after a brief illness at the Grace Hospital in Winnipeg, Betty Gustafson of St. Andrews, MB, beloved wife of Leonard. Betty was born and raised in Selkirk and received her education there. She worked for M.T.S. for many years where she made many lasting friendships. Bettys first love was for her family, her children and her grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her smile and how she always made everyone feel they were special. Betty had a great sense of humour and was easy to make laugh. She was a kind, and bubbly person who was energetic and full of life. Betty will live on in our hearts forever. Besides her beloved husband, Leonard, she leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Curtis (Samantha) and two precious granddaughters, Sierra and Cheye, and Cameron (Tricia) both of Langley, B.C., daughter Candace Henry (Alex) of St. Andrews, mother Katie Stefanyshyn of Selkirk, brother Robert (Myrna) and family of Selkirk, sister Bonnie (Bob) of St. Andrews and numerous other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father William Stefanyshyn. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 15 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Rev. Peter Cain officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Clements Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Grace General Hospital, especially the ICU unit for the wonderful care and compassion during Bettys brief stay. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bettys memory to CancerCare, 100 Olivia Street, Wpg., R3E 0V9. "If you think of me and cry, dont think of me at all.
