PIETERNELLA (NELLIE) FISCHER (nee SCHUTTE) Peacefully after a short illness Pieternella (Nellie) Fischer (nee Schutte) died on January 12, 2002 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Nellie was born January 11, 1924 in the Hague, Holland. She and her husband Hermann came to Winnipeg in 1957 where they lived and raised Herman and his sister Sonya. Nellie was devoted to her family especially to her granddaughter Lainie and was a good friend to many. Cremation has taken place. The family thanks Voyage Funeral Home and the many kind nurses at St. Boniface Hospital, notably Oscar and Yoka. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations may be made in Nellies name to the Childrens Wish Foundation. Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME 1531 PEMBINA HWY. 284-7500
