ELANA (HELEN) ONEIL (nee STIAHAR) Peacefully with family by her side, Elana ONeil, aged 74 years, passed away at the Betel Home in Selkirk on January 12, 2002. Elana was born in Libau, MB on June 20, 1927, daughter of the late William and Mary Stiahar. She moved out east to Hamilton and lived in Ontario until moving back to Winnipeg in 1966. She had been a resident of Betel for the past three years. She was predeceased by sisters, Barb and Katherine and leaves surviving a sister Anne Watko (Victor) of East Selkirk and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 16 at 1:30 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with a private family burial at St. Clements Cemetery.
