ARTHUR JOHN (JACK) BINGHAM August 21, 1919 - January 12, 2002 It is with great sadness we announce, Arthur John Bingham, known as Jack to his friends, passed away in the early morning of Saturday, January 12, 2002, after a brief fight with pneumonia. He was born in Port Arthur, now Thunder Bay, ON, on August 21, 1919. He spent the majority of his adult life in Vancouver and Winnipeg. Jack was predeceased by his brother Don and his sisters, Dorothy and Winifred. He leaves to grieve, his wife Doreen of 54 years; his sons, Michael (Pasha), Mark (Lou) and Paul (Pam) and his daughter Sylvia (Rick Smith). He also leaves four grandsons, Shawn, Chris, Matt and Warren and five granddaughters, Amber, Britany, Rachel, Paxton and Paige. Jack spent most of his working years at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation where he worked as an announcer and producer. Jack was a loving father and grandfather who will be missed but not forgotten. A celebration of Jacks life will take place at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, on Thursday, January 17 at 11:00 a.m. The family would like to thank the staff at the Grace General Hospital for the care and support given to Jack and his family during his last days.
