Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHEODORE THADEUS JAST Peacefully on Tuesday, January 15, 2002 at Seven Oaks General Hospital, Ted Jast, aged 84 years. He is survived by his daughter Trish; his son Raymond; his daughter-in-law Lorraine; and his two adored grand-children, Simon and Heidi. Ted will be greatly missed by his brother Ed, who has always been there for him; his sister-in-law Anne; and his sisters, Edna and Stephanie. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews. Ted was predeceased by his loving wife Florence in 1986, and his sister Lil. Ted was born in Winnipeg in 1917. He was an astute businessman who, along with his brother, Ed, owned and operated an IGA supermarket for 25 years. Despite the long hours "at the store", he still found time to raise and love two children, together with his wife, Florence. Ted and Flo enjoyed many happy winter holidays with their family and friends in Mexico, Florida and Arizona. One of Teds passions in life was sports. He loved watching many games, and over his lifetime, participated with much pleasure in golf, curling and tennis. Should friends so desire, donations in Teds memory may be made to the Seven Oaks General Hospital Foundation, at 2300 McPhillips St., Winnipeg, MB R2V 3M3. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., on Thursday, January 17 at 2:00 p.m. His wisdom, humour, support and concern for his familys well-being will long be remembered. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN STREET 338-7111
