Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANTHONY (TONY) FRANCHUK February 28, 1930 - January 19, 2002 Anthony (Tony) Franchuk passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 19, 2002 at the Victoria General Hospital. Tony was predeceased by his wife Mary in December 2000. He leaves to mourn his passing and to cherish his memory his mother, Mary Mudry of Sandy Lake, MB, a sister, Isabella (Russ) Bugera of Kelowna, BC, his cousin and close companion, Andrew Rubachuk of Winnipeg, as well as numerous other cousins, nieces, nephews and good friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 25 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment to follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens with Randy and Pam Rubachuk, Orest, Sherry and Laura Shindruk, and Clayton Catellier serving as pallbearers. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Tonys memory to the charity of ones choice as a token of remembrance.
