PETER GREGORY WILLIAM KUPIAK 1959 - 2002 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our son, brother and friend on January 20, 2002. Peter leaves to cherish his memory mother Yaroslava Elsie Kupiak, brother Michael (Elaine Kinchen) and sister Pauline. He was pre-deceased by his father Peter Kupiak Sr., April 1986. Peter was born January 22, 1959 in St. Boniface Hospital. In his youth, Peter spent many summers at SUM Camp. He attended several years of Ukrainian School at UNF. Peter graduated from Kelvin High School and attended the University of Manitoba. Peter was a devoted sports fan, especially following the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. One day he hoped to achieve his dream of becoming a sports writer. He was a gifted storyteller, which he expressed through his poetry and expressive words. Funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, January 25 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
