ALMA A. ROSS On Thursday, January 24, 2002, at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg Alma Ross went to be with her Lord at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her son Ronald (Barbara) daughter Marilyn (Gordon) Toole; grandchildren, Laura (Doug) Pointer, Gordon (Pat) Ross, Leanne and Pamela Toole, Bill (Colleen) and Bob (Josee) Boorman and four great-grandsons. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Arthur, brother Paul Wiegner and sister Meta Aufdemberge. Alma devoted her life to her family and the Lutheran Church. She was the organist at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd for 20 years was a Sunday School teacher and an active member of the Lutheran Womens Missionary League. Heartfelt thanks to the Convalescent Home for their excellent care and kindness. Funeral service will be held at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, McCalman and Grey, Tuesday, January 29 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Concordia Lutheran Seminary or a charity of your choice. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his names sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
