MARGARET JO DOWLING Margaret Jo Dowling was a dancer. One of her great joys in life was being a Rockette at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. As her daughters, we recall her dancing with our father. They danced the foxtrot and made heads turn when they moved gracefully across the ballroom floor. Jo did Irish dancing with a group of friends in Florida where she lived. She danced through life with elegance, grace and rhythm. Her family was central in her life. She loved being surrounded by all of them. Jo passed away peacefully in the home of her daughter Diane on Friday, January 25, 2002, when she went to join her husband Ed up in heaven where they are now dancing together again. She is survived by daughters, Maureen (Mrs. Robert Paulson) of New York City, and Diane (Mrs Irvin J. Kroeker) of Winnipeg. Her grandchildren are Josh, Luke and Jake Paulson of New York City, Kirsten (Mrs. Bryan Albo) of Winnipeg, Lara (partner of Loc Doa) of Vancouver, and Rebecca of Winnipeg. Her great-grandchildren are Justin and Brendan Albo, sons of Kirsten, and Zoe Dao-Kroeker, daughter of Lara. Her memorial service is Friday, February 1, at 1:00 pm in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 256 Smith St. in Winnipeg. Viewing in the church begins one-half hour before the memorial service. If friends desire donations may be made to Holy Trinity Anglican Church, R3C 1J8. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
