Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLIVE LYDIA PROKIPCHUK (nee LANG) Peacefully on Thursday, January 24, 2002 at Seven Oaks General Hospital our beloved mother, mother-in-law and Baba passed away at the age of 71. Olive was born January 3, 1931 in the citys North End where she attended Margaret Scott and King Edward Schools. Olive began working for the T. Eaton Company at the age of 16 and was employed by Eatons until they closed down their mail order and catalogue offices. Olive was a straight-forward person with a wonderful sense of humour. She enjoyed going to the movies and her many vacations to the United States, particularly California, New York and Tennessee. Olives love and devotion to her family was unparalleled and gave her purpose in life, especially her two granddaughters, Courtnee and Brittany, "whom she loved very much". Olive was predeceased by her husband William in January, 1996. Olive will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Sheree Scobie, son-in-law Kelly and her two special granddaughters, Courtnee Lyreen and Brittany Kelly. She also leaves to remember her, her sister Judy, brother-in-law Tony, nieces, Tracey, Cory, Candy and their families; also brother Ronald, wife Joyce and nephew Ronnie. It was Moms wishes to be cremated and a private family interment to take place at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Thank you to the Nursing Staff on Floor 5, Unit 4 of Seven Oaks Hospital for all the gentle care and kindness they gave to Mom during her stay there, especially Lisa. "We Love You Mama and Baba" "Rest In Peace"
