DOROTHY CHALMERS (nee BLOOMER) Peacefully, on Friday, January 25, 2002, at the Deer Lodge Centre, at the age of 79 years. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Kenneth. She is survived by her two sons, Bob (Kathy) of Virden, Gary (Pat) of Montreal; grandchildren, Laurie (John), Barb (Kevin), Travis, Matthew and Vicky; great-grandchildren Devonny and Noah; also her brother Edward and sister Irene. A private family memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 29 at 2:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St., with Rev. Don McIntyre officiating. Interment will follow in the Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum. The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of 4 East at the Deer Lodge Centre for the excellent care given to Mom these last two years. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothys memory to a charity of ones choice.
