ADELINE (FILLION) PARENT Mrs. Adeline Parent, aged 86 years, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 25, 2002, at Villa Youville in Ste. Anne. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Felix in 1981; and by her parents, Mathias and Azilda (Bruneau) Fillion. Left to mourn her passing are two daughters, Gisele and husband Gilles Collette, and Monique Haun, all of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Denis (Nicole) Collette, their children, Krystele and Mireille, Lise (Lee) Harvey, their children, Danielle and Julie, Jean-Paul Collette, Patricia (Anthony) Roos, their child Connor, Teresa (Greg) Duff, their children, Jamie and Jaydis, and Debbie (Stewart) MacMillan, and their children, Kyle and Keith. Also mourning are her sister Rose-Alba Bissonnette; brother Andre Fillion; and sisters-in-law, Rose Fillion, Marie Beaudette, and Odile Parent. Adeline was born on February 15, 1915, at St. Jean Baptiste. She married Felix Parent on September 27, 1938, and they farmed at St. Joseph until moving to Winnipeg in 1956. They retired to Morris in 1976. Adeline spent the last 11 years at Villa Youville. The family would like to extend thanks to sisters, Rioux and Forest and staff at Villa Youville; also ma tante Marie Beaudette. The funeral mass will be celebrated by Father Lionel Thibault on Wednesday January 30, at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. Viewing prior to mass. Interment in the parish cemetery.
