OLIVE LANGHAN On Saturday, January 26, 2002 at 10:53 p.m., Olive Langhan of Carman passed away peacefully and with dignity at the Carman Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in St. Daniel, MB on May 21, 1912, and lived her whole life in Carman, MB. Mom is survived by four daughters, Lorraine Kirkland, Gladys Langhan, Iris (Laurie) Hamelin and Pat (Joe) Beaulieu. She is survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother Don (Frisco) McIvor; and many nieces and nephews. Mom was predeceased by her beloved husband Fred; her mother Sarah McIvor; her sisters, Dorothy LaPointe and Bertha McIvor; brothers, Jim and Buster McIvor and Joe LaPointe. Mom was a long time member of the Catholic Womens League and of the Carman Legion Auxiliary. In spite of her failing health she lived her life her way - with dignity and determination. Our sincere thank you goes out to the staff at Carman Memorial Hospital, to Valdine McLaughlin the Home Care Coordinator and the staff at Parkview Manor with special thank-you to moms favourite girl Stephanie. Prayers will be said from Doyles Funeral Chapel in Carman, MB. on Thursday, January 31 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Carman, MB on Friday, February 1 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Martin Houstin officiating. Interment will be in the Carman Catholic Cemetery in Carman, MB. If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Carman Memorial Hospital, Box 610, Carman, MB, R0G 0J0. Doyle Funeral Chapel of Carman in care of arrangements.
