RUDY VINCENT MAXWELL B.A., LL.B. Rudy Vincent Maxwell, after a lengthy struggle with chronic emphysema. Rudy passed away peacefully at his home on January 26, 2002 at the age of 72. Rudy practiced law in Winnipeg for many years and retired with his wife, Ferne, to Hope, BC, in 1996. He is survived by many close friends and family members, his immediate family as follows: his wife, Ferne and his daughters from his previous marriage: Allison Maxwell (partner Gary Fraipont), Kris Crawford (husband Michael), Lori Maxwell and grandchildren Dylan, Kate and Emma. He will be sadly missed by all who cared about him. Rudy has started another path unknown to us humans - no doubt he has been noticed already wherever he is. At the request of the deceased there will be no service and his ashes will be scattered on rural property in Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hope United Church (Box 1577, Hope, BC, V0X 1L0) or a charity of choice.
