ROLAND J.N. TRUDEAU August 24, 1932 - February 1, 2002 Peacefully, after a short illness, on Friday, February 1, 2002, at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Roland passed away at the age of 69 years. He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved wife Clairette (nee Tetreault) daughter Jo-Ann (Rick Finney) son Denis (Helen) and granddaughter Heidi of Pitt Meadows, BC. He also leaves to mourn one brother Bertin (Nicole) of Quebec; sisters, Hilda also of Quebec, Lorraine (Louis Legal), Germaine (Regis Ruest), Carmelle (Paul Beauchamp) as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews and friends. Dad had been employed for 25 years at Deer Lodge Hospital (Day Hospital and T7) where he was known for his meticulous work. He believed in treating everyone with fairness and respect. He was a gentle, kind, loving husband, father and friend, who loved being outdoors. He was always ready to help, often ending his visits to his children with the familiar, "If you need help just call." He always had a smile on his face even during the last month of his fight with brain cancer (Glioblastoma). Prayers will be said at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 5, at the Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons St. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, February 6, at 2:00 p.m., at the Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens R.C.
