ARNE EINARSON Peacefully on January 30, 2002 after a long battle with cancer, Arne Einarson, aged 75, passed away. He was predeceased by his son George, siblings and his parents. Arne will be lovingly remembered by his wife Katherine; children, Allen (Jane) of Thunder Bay, ON, Joe (Janet) of Sudbury, ON, Marne of Ithaca, NY, Harold (Michelle) of Thunder Bay, ON and daughter-in-law Marlene Kearsey of Oshawa, ON; grandchildren, Julie (Jesse) of Winnipeg, Amy (Jason) of Thunder Bay, ON, Eric and Inga of Oshawa, ON. Arne worked for CPR for 42 years, retiring as a conductor for VIA Rail. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, ON109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9. Funeral service will be held at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. on Monday, February 4 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation one half hour prior to service time. Cremation will follow and the interment will take place on Tuesday, February 5 at 11:30 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
