DUANE MERVIN LEURQUIN Our family sadly announces the sudden passing of Duane on Thursday, January 31, 2002 at the age of 30 years. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his mom Eva (Gerry) dad Mervin; brother and best friend David; sisters, Pamela Correia and Susan (Vince) Carriere, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Duane had an understanding of how important family and friends are and a passion for the outdoors, spending time at the cabin with his faithful companion Tyson. He loved listening to music and playing the drums. He also enjoyed weight lifting. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 5 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Ave. with Rev. Msgr. Ward Jamieson presiding. Interment will follow in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 4000 Portage Ave. If only tears could build a stairway, And heartaches make a lane, Wed walk a path to Heaven And bring you back again. Our family chain is broken And nothing is the same, But as God calls us one by one, Our chain will link again. "Duane, we all miss you And will keep you close To our hearts forever."
