SIDNEY JOHN WATSON On Monday, February 4, 2002 at the Pine Falls Hospital, Pine Falls, MB, Sidney John (Skidder) Watson passed away at the age of 49 years. Sidney is the beloved son of Frank and Melina Watson and brother to Patrick (Marlene), Gordon (Dorinda), Kathy Whittaker (John), Bill (Molly) and Tanice Senft (Warren). He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Bryan. Sidney was born on March 9, 1952 in Pine Falls. He was employed by the Pine Falls Paper Company. In later years with the company he developed Hodgkins Disease and as a result finished his years on long term disability. Sidney enjoyed fishing, music, his motorcycle and especially catching up on the local news at Clarks Corner. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Sidneys life will be on Thursday, February 7 at 2:00 p.m. at the Notre Dame du Laus Roman Catholic Church, Powerview, MB, with Fr. James Gray officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Papineau, Leon Bouvier, Chris Coulombe, Gary Mysak, Grant Pachkowsky and Norman Dupont. If friends so desire, memorial donations in Sidneys memory may be made to a charity of ones choice. "For you the pain and suffering have ended, go now in peace."
