PHYLLIS ADAMS (nee Montgomery) After a lengthy illness, Phyllis passed away on February 7, 2002. Remaining to forever cherish her memory is her beloved husband, loving partner and devoted care-giver Jack; her daughters, Brenda and Debbie (Charlie) her much loved grandchildren, Mieka (Tom) and David (Kim) Artz; and great-grandson Dominic, Kayla and Dyson and her cousins in BC, and England. Phyllis was born in Winnipeg, spent her adolescence in Selkirk and later returned to Winnipeg. Phyllis and Jack were married in 1941. They enjoyed many years as a family at their cottage at Grand Beach, and there made many lifelong friends. They later moved to Lester Beach and enjoyed many more years of cottage life. Also numerous happy holidays were spent in Hawaii with their friends. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Grace Hospital and Oakview Place. In lieu of flowers, donations in Phyllis memory can be made to a charity of your choice. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 12, at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Reception will follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre.
