FLORENCE SULLIVAN (nee GARBO) Following a lengthy illness, it is with sadness that we announce the death of Florence Sullivan, with family by her side on Friday, February 8, 2002 at St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 72 years. Florence will be sadly missed by her son Tom and Pamela; aunt Toots, Emily, Judy, as well as many other relatives and friends. Florence was a very talented woman, in the sixties she ran a successful antique store in Vancouver. Her skills with arts and crafts were limitless. She sewed, redecorated and did a lot of dried and fresh flowers arrangements for customers. She was Martha Stewart 30 years before Martha came along. A service of remembrance will be held on February 13 at 10:30 a.m. in the Leatherdale Gardener Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Ave. We would like to thank the staff of 3B at St. Boniface Hospital for their caring and kindness, Emily for her faithful visits and everybody else for their concern.
