TERESA CROGNALI (nee MAGNIFICO) 1919 - 2002 On Sunday, February 10, 2002 at the age of 82 years, Teresa passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family. Teresa was born in Crognaleto, Italy. In 1957, following the passing of her husband Domenico, with the gracious assistance of her brother Giuseppe (Matilde) Magnifico, Teresa with her three children immigrated to Winnipeg. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Adele (Romolo) Fracassi; her sons, Renato (Gloria) and Franco (Maureen). Her grandchildren, Luigi (Dolores), Teresa (Nicola), Gregory (Rosa), Jeffrey (Shelly), Shauna and Kyle. Great-grandchildren, Syrena, Pino, Cristian, Janessa, Alexandra, Ryan and Gillian. Also her goddaughter Gabriella Bridges. She will be missed by her brothers, Giuseppe (Matilde), Luigi (Elvira), and Tony Magnifico; and her many nieces and nephews. Teresa was a kind, gentle and loving Mamma, Nonna, and Nonnina. Her greatest joy was to be surrounded by her great-grandchildren. She also belonged to the Holy Rosary Women of the Catholic Church. Prayer vigil will be held on Thursday, February 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 15 at 10:00 a.m., also in the church, with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano presiding at the Eucharist. Entombment at the Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley St. Her pallbearers are Gregory Crognali, Luigi Fracassi, Jeffrey Crognali, Nicola Calamusa, Kyle Elliott and Chad Neiser. Honourable pallbearers are Teresa Calamusa and Shauna Crognali. The family wishes to express their gratitude to all her friends, the staff at the St. Boniface General Hospital, Lynne Anderson, Allison Feiblekorn and all the home care staff.
