Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBEATRICE FRANCES MORAN (nee STANGL) 1908 - 2002 Beatrice Moran, of Portage la Prairie, wife of the late Leo Moran, passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, on Thursday, February 7, 2002 at the age of 93 years. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by four sons, William, Brian, Wayne and Gerald. She leaves to mourn her only daughter Carol Ann (Ron) Schlase of Surrey, BC; four living sons, Robert (Jean) of Portage/Texas, Michael (Irene) of Edmonton, James (Jeanette) of Winnipeg, and Joe (friend Diane) of Edmonton; her daughters-in-law, Brenda, Donna, Evelyn, and Muriel; along with 29 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. The family extends its deepest gratitude to the caring and compassionate staff of both the Lions Prairie Manor and St. Boniface Hospital and the wonderful support from friends. Prayers will be held at 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13 at the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, Portage la Prairie. Funeral mass will also be in Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 14. Interment will follow in the Moran Family Plot at Hillside Cemetery, Portage la Prairie. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Beatrices memory to Good Shepherd Parish Building Fund, 115 Countess Ave., Portage la Prairie, MB R1N 0T2. A tree will be planted and cared for in memory of Beatrice by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel who are entrusted with the arrangements. 857-4021. www.mediatributes.com/FH/mckenzies
