PATRICIA C. JOHNSON Patricia passed away peacefully at St. Boniface General Hospital on February 11, 2002. Patricia was pre-deceased by her loving husband Everett on March 21, 1999. She was a very generous and caring person who enjoyed life to the fullest. She had an abundance of close friends and a loving family. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Barbara Schade and husband Paul; her son Ronald Johnson and wife Maureen; three grandchildren, Angela and Eric Schade, Michelle and her husband Patrick Galloway; and one great-granddaughter Brooklyn Galloway. Patricia was born in Scotland on July 12, 1918 and came to Canada as a young child. Most of her life was spent in Winnipeg where she met her husband Everett. She was employed by the Health Science Centre for 14 years upon her retirement. Pat loved to shop, golf and socialize with her many friends. She was a long-time member of the Assiniboine Golf Club and spent many enjoyable hours there, as well as Polo Park Shopping Centre. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the outstanding doctors, nurses and staff at the St. Boniface General Hospital Palliative Care Unit. Memorial services will be held on Friday, February 15 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Chapel Lawn Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 2B7. Peacefully sleeping, resting at last, the worlds weary troubles and trials are past. In silence she suffered, in patience she bore, till God called her home to suffer no more.
