Fern Wanetta Bradley (nee Graham), born January 25, 1927 at Climax, SK, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on February 10, 2002. Fern was active in the Transcona United Church and graduated from the University of Winnipeg. She served at LaRiviere and Pierson, MB as well as Bella Coola, BC. After an accident in 1980 which took her off her feet, she came to Abbotsford and later settled on Chilliwack Lake Road, attending Carman United Church. Visitation will be held at Hendersons Funeral Home on Thursday and Friday, February 14 and 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday, February 14 at 1:00 p.m. at Carman United Church. Fern is survived by daughters, Wanda May Slater of Winnipeg and Laural Dawn Bradley of Fort Langley; grandsons, Steve and Ken Slater of Winnipeg; and a sister May Graham of Abbotsford; was predeceased by her husband Andrew Bradley, brother Billy, and her parents. The family wishes to express appreciation to the dozens of friends, neighbours, care givers and all who made her living independently a possibility. Should family and friends so desire, donations in Ferns memory may be sent to the Building Fund of Emmanuel Church, Bella Coola, BC V0T 1C0, or to the Carman United Church, 7258 Vedder Rd., Chilliwack, BC V2R 4E6.
