ISHVERLAL HARILAL DARJI November 12, 1928 - February 12, 2002 Ishverlal passed away peacefully at St. Boniface General Hospital. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife Bhanuben and his loving children, Bharat (Bharti), Bharti (Suresh), Asha (Satish), Rashmi (Mahesh), and Uma (Harish). He was the proud "Dada" of ten grandchildren, Dipesh, Shilpa, Franil, Niklesh, Kevin, Bhavesh, Ronak, Disha, Neha and Jayda, who will miss his attention and love. Ishverlal will be remembered by his brother Thakorbhai (Padmaben) as well as sister Kamuben (Shivlalbhai). His many nephews and nieces will miss him dearly. He was predeceased by his parents, Maniben and Haribhai. Ishverlal was born in India (Puni). He completed his education in India and joined the family tailoring business in India (Sharbon). He was married in 1948 at Salej, India to Bhanuben. They immigrated to Canada in 1981. Bhanuben and Ishverlal adopted their new country and worked hard to raise their young family. They are proud of their childrens accomplishments. He was a keen sportsman, enjoyed movies, travelling and other entertainment. He was a faithful member of the Hindu Seniors Centre. A service followed by cremation will take place on Friday, February 15 at 2:30 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. Prayers will be held from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Hindu Temple, 854 Ellice Ave., the same day. The family would like to express sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses, staff and ambulance attendant at the St. Boniface General Hospital for their efforts and compassionate care.
