Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMURRAY LEWIS PENROSE June 18, 1934 - February 12, 2002 Quietly on February 12, 2002, at the age of 67, our beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away at the Dauphin General Hospital. Murray was predeceased by his mother Maryanne and father Louie Pemose. Left to mourn is his wife Wallie; and their children, Michael, wife Denise and daughter Shauna; Diane, husband Glenn and children, Megan and Riley; Daphne, husband Wade and child Darian. Also his sister Donna Sheppard and family of Pensacola, FL. Murray was born and raised in Winnipeg where he met Wallie. They were married in 1957. Murray received his degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1959. They then moved to Dauphin later that year, where he began his lengthy and successful career as a Chartered Accountant. Murray was dedicated to his work, family and friends. He was very involved with the Lions Club of Dauphin, supported amateur sports, loved to golf, fish, hunt and especially spending time at the lake watching his grandchildren play. Murrays life was filled with joy and pride. He will always be remembered for his generosity, love, sense of humour, and his endless spirit. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 16 at 2:30 p.m. in the Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Chapel. Ilene Dowd officiating and the service to conclude at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Murrays memory to the Diabetes Society of Manitoba. Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Service have care of the arrangements.
