DORIS IRENE "DOBBIE" PRUDENT Peacefully, at Riverview Health Centre, on February 9, 2002, aged 81 years. Doris spent her life in Winnipeg but many happy times were also spent with family in Quebec. Doris worked as a telephone operator with Manitoba Telephone System. Sadly, her retirement years were cut short when she was involved in a motor vehicle accident and thereafter required permanent care. Doris was predeceased by her mother Florence Adams; father Frederick Adams; sisters, Thelma Moran and Joan Pachalek; and stepbrother and stepsister Gilbert and Ruth. She is survived by her stepmother Martha Adams; sisters, Gladys Tisdelle of Ontario and Vera Galloway of Winnipeg; as well as many nephews and nieces. In accordance with Doris wishes, her body has been donated to the Department of Anatomy, University of Manitoba. Her life will be honoured at a memorial service at a later date. Family wish to extend their thanks to the staff of Riverview Health Centre 2 West for their excellent care and kindness to Doris.
