DEMETRA DOUSKOS Suddenly on February 14, 2002, Demetra passed away at the age of 69. She was predeceased by both parents Krystallo and Ioannis Moris; brother-in-law Socrates; and nephew Photeos Barlas. She leaves to mourn her loving husband Aristippos; and son John (Kimberley) grandchildren, Brittany, Jessica, Jennifer; two sisters, Anna Karogiannis and Patra Barlas from Regina; stepchildren, George, Marie-Christine, Apostolos; along with many nieces and nephews. Mom was born in Greece and immigrated to CanadaRegina, SK, in 1968. One year later she moved to Winnipeg where she lived all her life. Mom was a dedicated employee at the Northstar Inn (Delta) Hotel. Demetra was a great mother and wife and a loving "Yia Yia." Mom will be sadly missed and always loved. Prayers will be said on Monday, February 18 at 7:00 p.m. in St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 19 in St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, Grant at Shaftesbury at 1:00 p.m. with Father Dimitrios Giannou officiating.
