Bea was predeceased by her husband Allan McLennan; sisters, Stephinie Sauer, Jessie Kibalski and Madge Collins. Bea leaves to cherish her memory, niece Alex McLaren of Houston, Texas; nephew Gordon Collins (and family) of Seattle, Washington, the entire McLennan family to whom she was very close, and many more great friends. Bea was a very strong, independent person who lived her life to the fullest and was a 50 year member of Legion 141. She also belonged to The Redeemer Lutheran Church on Manitoba and Arlington and loved her time at the Sokol Hall as well. She was an avid traveller and really enjoyed her trips to Hawaii with family and friends. In her later years Bea enjoyed many bus trips south to spend her nickels and quarters with a variety of friends and family and loved playing cards and being involved in many activities with the Seniors at Parkside Plaza on Henderson Highway where she lived. Special thanks to the entire staff on Ward 6A and the Palliative Care Unit of The St. Boniface General Hospital, along with Dr. Philippe Erhard. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
