CLARA ELIZABETH MAGER (LAMONTAGNE) 1920 - 2002 Clara was born in St. Boniface to George and Catherine Lamontagne. She married William Alfred Mager in 1945 when he returned from the war. Clara was a St. Boniface girl from birth until the time of her death on February 15, 2002. Predeceased by her husband Willie, Clara leaves to mourn her passing her son Doug and wife Gayle, daughter Connie and her special friend George, grandchildren, Cindy Newman, Steven, Krystall and Darlene Mager. Clara was independent to the end. She enjoyed cooking, baking and listening to the talk shows on radio and television. Her feisty personality came through often; especially when shed voice her own opinion on the state of todays world. Prior to her failing eyesight she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting and craft making of all sorts. Many of her projects will be displayed in prominent places in her children and grandchildrens homes. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 22 at 2:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Highway #1 East at Green Acres Lane. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers friends may make a donation to The Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB, R2L 1Z3. Mom, Grandma, we will remember you.
