JOHN PENZIWOL It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of John Penziwol, age 69 years, on Monday, February 18, 2002 at his residence. Besides his loving wife Lucille, John leaves to mourn his daughter Shelley; his sisters, Joyce Anderson and Anne (Nick) Kryzanowski; his brother Michael (Anne) Penziwol; sister-in-law Eleanor Penziwol; his aunts, Carol (Peter) Steciuk and Ann Rosolowich; brothers-in-law, Wally (Mary) Komonko and Ronald (Darlene) Komonko; mother-in-law Jean Komonko; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Metro, sister Nettie and his parents Adam and Lena. John was born in Meleb, MB on January 18, 1933 and moved to Winnipeg in 1957. He was employed at Piston Ring Service from 1957 to 1977, then owned and operated Northwood Automotive with brother-in-law Wally from 1977 to 1992. More recently, John worked part-time at Heads-Up Automotive while enjoying retirement. Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., with Rev. Fr. Harry Oliynek officiating. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Johns memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
