BARBARA FRANCES (BARBI) COTTICK Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, on February 19, 2002, after a lengthy and courageously fought battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Bill and devoted and loving mother of Kellie, Kimberley and Christopher. Barbi also lives on in the hearts of her parents, Dr. Frank and Nan Fergie of Cranbrook, BC; her sister Nedra and brother-in-law Dr. David Lightfoot of Mount Lehman, BC; parents-in-law, Dr. Alex Cottick and Rae Coggan of Winnipeg; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dr. Alex and Kate Darrach-Cottick and Dr. Christopher and Marlene Cottick of Winnipeg; and loving nephews and nieces. A memorial service to celebrate Barbis life and the joy she brought to so many will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 23 at St. Johns United Church, 262 Randall St., Oakville, ON, with reception to follow. The family will receive visitors from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, February 22, at Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds St., Oakville. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be greatly appreciated.
