He is survived by his daughters, Natalka Kerr and her husband Allan, and Olga Toth and her husband Stephen; and by his granddaughter Tatjana. He is also survived by his ex-wife Ljubica Pelepenko, and his sister Ann Szczur of Winnipeg, as well as nephews, Jerry (Linda) of Calgary, and Bill (Donna) and great-nieces, Tanya and Angela all of Coquitlam, BC. He will be missed by numerous friends and relatives in England and the Ukraine. Bill will be remembered lovingly by the gang at the German Club, especially David and Ushi Johnson. Wasyl was born in Pischana Ukraine and moved to England after the war. He worked in a carpet factory and as a construction worker until he moved the family to Canada in 1975. He worked here for C.N. Rail as a trackman until his retirement in 1988. He spent most of his retirement in his vegetable garden. He was especially proud of his tomatoes. He also loved the outdoors. As per Dads wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held. Interment will be held at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, 4477 Main St. Thank you to all our friends for their support. We want to especially thank Dads Home Care Workers and V.O.N. nurses that took care of Dad at home the past few months and the nurses on the fourth floor at the Seven Oaks General Hospital that were so kind and compassionate while he was in their care.
