Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPHILIP WILSON COUCH 1943 - 2002 On Thursday, February 21, 2002 Philip Wilson Couch passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, after a lengthy battle with cancer fought with dignity and courage. Philip leaves his loving wife of 35 years, Karen; his children, of whom he was so proud, son Peter (wife Christine) daughter Jane; precious grandsons, Joshua, Matthew and Noah; dear mother-in-law Muriel Jurgens; brother Alan (Dianne) and family of St. Louis, MO; brother-in-law Ted Jurgens (Barbara) and family of Mississauga, ON. He was predeceased by his parents, Alan and Gladys Couch. Philip was born in Winnipeg on October 29, 1943 and attended schools in River Heights, St. Johns-Ravenscourt and St. Johns College. He was plant superintendent for Dominion Tanners in Edmonton, Toronto and Winnipeg, leaving in 1978 to begin a career in the satellite T.V. industry. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 26 at 1:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., entrance on Aubrey Street. The family wishes to thank all those who provided such wonderful care to Philip during his difficult struggle, particularly Dr. R. James Boyd and Dr. Lorne Brandes. A special thank you to the devoted nurses and staff on the 3rd floor U5 at Seven Oaks Hospital for your comfort, compassion and sympathy, and to friends and neighbours for your help and support. We will always treasure your words of wisdom, guidance and insight, your fascinating stories, and your wonderful sense of humour. Rest in peace. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
