NELL OHRYN Peacefully on Wednesday, February 20, 2002, Nell passed away at the Dauphin Regional Health Centre at the age of 76 years. Nell was born at Arran, SK on January 4, 1926 then moved to Dauphin at a young age, where she received her education. She married Ross Ohryn on August 16, 1950. Together they resided in Dauphin till the time of his passing in May of 1990. Nell will be remembered by her daughter Carole Ohryn and son-in-law Tom Kostas of Winnipeg. She will be lovingly missed and leaves many wonderful memories. Cremation has taken place and a private family service was held on Thursday, February 21 from the Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Chapel. Rev. Paul Crossland officiated. We would like to thank the staff of St. Pauls Home for the care they provided for Nell in the last years. In tears we saw you sinking We watched you fade away You suffered much in silence You fought so hard to stay You faced your task with courage Your spirit did bend But still you kept on fighting Until the very end. God saw you getting tired So He put His arms around you and whispered, "Come with Me." So when we saw you sleeping So peacefully free from pain We could not wish you back To suffer again. Our family chain is broken And nothing seems the same As God calls us one by one Our chain will link again. Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Service had care of the arrangements.
