MATILDA SIMARD Peacefully, on Friday, February 22, 2002, at the Pine Falls Hospital, Pine Falls, MB, Matilda Simard, aged 85 years, beloved wife of the late Wilfred Simard, of Seymourville, MB. She is survived by her children, Elmer (Irene), Katherine (Herman), Henry (Marge), Agnes (Mervin), Ted (Della), Elsie (Horst), Bertha (James), Louise (Walter), Doreen (Bill), Shirley (Bernard), Herman (Cecille), Hank (Janet), Wesley (Sandra) 74 grandchildren, 200 great-grandchildren and 49 great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers and sisters, Wallace Seymour, Jack Seymour, Valdie Seymour, Carrie Forbes (Wayne), Warren Hamlin (Lorna) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Matilda was predeceased by her husband Wilfred; her parents Frank and Esther; her son Gabriel in infancy; her daughter Aurellia; her sisters, Mabel Courchene, Bella Bushie, Virginia Bushie, Myrna Hamlin; by her brothers, Stanley Seymour, Alex Seymour, Frank Seymour, Edward Seymour, Sydney Seymour and Sam Seymour. Wake services will be held at the Community Centre in Seymourville beginning Saturday evening. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 26 at 2:00 p.m. from the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Manigotagan, MB, with Fr. Laval Cloutier officiating.
