Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES MURRAY RICHMOND Passed away on Tuesday, February 19, 2002 in his 83rd year at St. Marys Hospital, Sechelt, James Murray Richmond, beloved husband of Elenor (Ellie), dear father to Ed Richmond of West Vancouver, Tom Richmond and wife Gerda of Phuket, Thailand and Janet Wilson and husband John of North Vancouver; dear sister Doreen McCormick of Winnipeg; loving grandfather to Jim and Michael Richmond and Nicole Candice and Jacquie Wilson. Jim served in the RCAF from 1941 to 1945 in Ireland, England, and Egypt. Jims working years were in transportation with the CNR and Burlington Northern where he worked in Saskatoon, Thunder Bay, Winnipeg, Cincinnati, OH and Vancouver, where he was Area Manager of British Columbia for Burlington Northern. He was a past member of the Terminal City Club, Capilano Winter Club, Transportation Club, Sunshine Coast Golf Club, and Gibsons Curling Club. There will be a memorial service at North Lonsdale United Church, 3380 Londsdale Ave., North Vancouver on Thursday, February 28 at 3:00 p.m. If desired memoriam donations can be made to your favourite charity and would be appreciated by the family.
