MARIA PAL Peacefully with her family by her side, after a brief illness, it is with deep regret that we announce the passing of Maria Pal, February 24, 2002 at the Palliative ward at St. Boniface Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Gabor and both parents. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Gabor (Margaret) Laing, Graham and daughter Eva (Jeff), children, Elston, Liam. We will always miss and cherish a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. Maria was born in Hungary in 1928 and brought her family to Canada in 1957. Maria was a hard working person who enjoyed her home and yard and especially her grandchildren. "Mom, Grandma will always be remembered As she was both strong and good Who gave us life and guidance in all she could, She will always be remembered in our hearts, For all the joy she brought As a Mom, Grandma who made a difference in our lives." To respect Maria and her familys wishes, a private service will be held in her memory in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home on Henderson Hwy., with a private family interment to follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family gratefully declines flowers. Donations in Marias memory may be made to St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care.
