Marta was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to her husband Alec, son Stan, and beloved grandsons, J.J. and Mitch; and their mom Leah. She was a tireless worker, whether it was in her garden or her many years at the Drug Store in Windsor Park and Grant Park. She loved her friends dearly, especially when they all played Bingo!! Loved by her family, friends, the community, and her friends and relatives in Canada, Yugoslavia, and the Czech Republic. Her light will shine forever. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 2 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Interment and reception will follow.
