TERRENCE SCHJERNING Peacefully with his wife and family by his side Terrence Schjerning passed away February 26, 2002 at St. Boniface Hospital. He was predeceased by his daughter Robyn in 1972 and his son Wayne in 1980. Also predeceased by both parents. He leaves to cherish his loving wife Renate Schjerning; children, Geoff (Tara), Rodney (Diane), daughter Cheryl, son Robbie, sister D.Anne from Alaska, brother Dwight (Sylvia) from Alberta, stepmother Vera Schjerning from Brampton, ON, mother and father-in-law Sam and Maria Lohr of Winnipeg, brother-in-law Peter (Jocelyn), sister-in-law Karin (John) Barber of Vancouver, many nieces, cousins and nephews. Terrence was a loving husband, father and friend to many. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors at destinations such as Fisher Branch, Lee River and Lake of the Woods. He enjoyed fishing and tinkering with boats and motors. He was a Foster Parent for many years to many children. Visitation will be held in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, Friday, March 1 between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. Funeral service to follow in Calvary Temple, 400 Hargrave St., Saturday, March 2 at 11:00 a.m. with pastor Bruce Martin officiating. Viewing one hour prior to service. Interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Reception will be held at Calvary Temple following interment.
