Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHENRY ANDREW SITAR Born November 27, 1916, in Elma, MB. Died peacefully at Misericordia Interim Care on February 25, 2002. Henry was predeceased by his wife Victoria in 1969; as well as brothers, Joe, Peter, Tom and Martin; sisters, Mary Martin, Annie Kiz and Katie Misurka; and both parents. He is survived by a son Dr. Daniel (Maureen) Sitar, grandsons, Jamie and Scott; and daughter Peggy (Ken) Sexton, grandchildren, Tanis (James) McNeil, Andrew (Michelle) Sexton, and Kimberly (Giuseppe) Buoncore of Thunder Bay; and seven great-grandchildren. Henry was raised in Elma, MB, spending his career as a steel worker with Dominion Bridge Winnipeg, and retired in 1979. He enjoyed the fact that he did not have to work, and took great pleasure spending time in the country around his home town of Elma. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home on Saturday, March 2 at 11:00 a.m. Flowers gratefully declined. For Maureen Came across the obit and realized it was your family. I am sorry for your loss. Anything I could ever find about you spoke of your kindness and that is what I remember about you Also. I hope you have had a good life and are happy. Over the years I thought about you often and thank you for befriending me through the troubled years. Please forgive me for leaving such a personal message on this sight but I have been unable to thank you in person.
